For Lousea, art is an exploration of nature, self-love, and creative expression in all its forms. A full-time mixed media artist from Lafayette, Louisiana, she weaves together alternative photographic processes, embroidery, painting, printmaking, collage, photography, and filmmaking-constantly pushing boundaries and blending techniques to create
something truly unique. Her work is deeply personal yet universally resonant, inviting viewers to connect with their own sense of wonder and introspection. Beyond her own artistic practice, Lousea is a passionate educator and community advocate, sharing her love of art through creative workshops and as a PACE art instructor in Lafayette Parish Schools. Her influence extends beyond the classroom and studio-her mural work can be found throughout Lafayette, bringing beauty and inspiration to public spaces.
