Kristie Mayeaux Spotswood is a Lafayette, Louisiana based visual artist.

She holds an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Kristie is currently working with acrylic on wood, with a focus on the native Flora of Louisiana. She has recently worked with local nonprofits to illustrate regional flora and fauna for educational signage in public spaces. She believes this work is important for cultivating awareness of and interest in our region's rich history.
